Challow has a philosophy of continually
developing solutions and services that enable our clients
to deal with the complex IT environments of today. As companies

Disaster Recovery Solution.
This solution makes use of the latest
server virtualisation and server based computing technologies
to overcome the difficulties associated with traditional disaster
recovery services. All core services are identified and then
replicated on our Virtual Server Network, located within the
Challow Data Centre. This provides a platform from which replicated
services can be established within a few minutes. Data from
tape backups can then be loaded onto the Virtual Servers to
provide a live operational environment with very little downtime.
Access to this “duplicate” network this then provided by thin client access, presented
via an HTML browser making access to the network secure
from anywhere in the world.
With any organisation today,Email
has become the most important single application and its accessibility
is critical. The Challow solution includes a solution for rapid resolution of mail and web site downtime that avoids the need for DNS records to be updated over a 24 period.
When viewed as a complete solution,
no other traditional disaster recovery service offers such
a complete answer to disaster recovery and ensures a very
short recovery time. Additionally, the Challow Virtual Disaster
Recovery Solution avoids the expense of allocating dedicated
hardware and office space.
